Dry skin: here’s what you should do

In this article we are going to talk about the perfect skincare routine for men that deal with dry skin. Just because the winter season is slowly fading, a we are moving closer to spring, it doesn’t mean that you are not going to suffer from dry skin anymore, so we are going to give you all the tips and tricks needed to make sure that your face won’t dry out.

Tip number one is to make sure to stay hydrated, you will probably already know this, and many people are aware of the importance of hydration but, despite this, they disregard it throughout the day because they get very busy. Make sure you are drinking the right amount of water, take your bottle everywhere and start drinking from the moment you wake up, and also when you leave the house, at work or everywhere else.

Tip number two is: try to not touch your face! We know this one is really hard, everybody does this without even realizing it, however the more you touch your face, the more the excess natural oils from your hands will get on your skin and will dry your face out. So be careful when it comes to your daily habits. 

Tip number 3 is to always keep your pillowcases clean, we want to make sure to lay our head down at night on an oil free zone, but if you wash your pillowcases at least once a week, you should be in a clear zone. However if you don’t do this, you should change this habit really soon. A clean surface to lay your head on every night can prevent you from getting any bacteria on your face. 

Tip number 4 is of course to make sure you have a healthy skincare routine. If you don’t wash your face at least twice a day, chances are that this is one of the main reasons why your skin is drying out. Having a good face wash will remove excess oil debris, dirt and everything that isn’t good on our face, that probably comes from our activities throughout the day. So when it comes to your skincare routine make sure to use good quality products, designed to work best for you. Wash your face first thing in the morning to clean everything that has build up overnight, and do it as well before you are going to bed. Use a moisturizer after washing your face, to guarantee your skin will stay hydrated throughout the day, and also at night.

The last thing to do is exfoliating your skin twice a week, using a scrub that can dive deep into your pores and that can also help you hydrating the skin while removing germs and bacteria at the same time. But be careful, do not over exfoliate because that will definitely dry out your skin even more.
